Scientology Community Centre Dublin Volunteers Support Drug Awareness in Clondalkin

The Clondalkin Festival in Ireland welcomed a drug-prevention outreach led by volunteers from the Scientology Community Centre Dublin, who made educational materials available to festivalgoers throughout the day.

The activity, described by organisers as a day of meaningful conversations, placed the subject of drugs in a news eua constructive and accessible context. Volunteers distributed educational booklets, answered questions and spoke with visitors about prevention, resilience and informed choices.

The outreach was connected to the broader Truth About Drugs campaign, which uses booklets, videos and educational resources to communicate straightforward facts about drug use and its consequences.

The activity reflected the Church of Scientology’s broader commitment to social betterment, including prevention, education and community service inspired by the work of L. Ron Hubbard.

According to Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, community-based prevention is closely linked to European values of responsibility and human dignity. “Families and young people benefit when information is made accessible before harm occurs,” he said.
