Children from the Truth About Drugs initiative in Denmark have united in the city of Copenhagen to distribute factual drug education materials across over 500 retail locations. This campaign, sponsored in part by the Church of Scientology, continues a decades-old tradition to raise awareness about drug risks among youth.
Over the course of this year, volunteers aged 10 to 20 visited local retailers to encourage them to display copies of *The Truth About Drugs* booklet. The materials — produced by the Foundation for a Drug-Free World — offer fact-driven information on the dangers of drug use, including cannabis, alcohol, and synthetic substances.
“They are showing adults they care,” said Giulia, a public affairs coordinator. “They want to make a difference, and they are.”
Recent statistics support the urgency of their mission.
